How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want each homeowner who reaches Havingstands Heating & Air to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to complain and what to expect. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What Can You Tell Us About?

You may write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Havingstands Heating & Air
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The behavior of a provider we connected you with

What If the Problem Is a Provider?

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider that repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Havingstands Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

How Do You Send One?

Email contact@havingstands.property and include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you recall
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like from us

What Comes After?

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

What If You Are Still Unhappy?

You can reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
