About Havingstands Heating & Air and How Referrals Work
Who Are We, Really?
Havingstands Heating & Air is a referral service. We connect homeowners in Peapack and Gladstone and the Peapack and Gladstone area with independent local HVAC providers. That is the whole job. The providers do the repair and installation work, and they set their own prices.
Why Does This Service Exist?
When the heat dies in January or the AC quits in July, searching feels like a chore. You scroll, compare and wonder who to trust. We built Havingstands Heating & Air around a simple idea: less searching, more answers.
We also care about older houses. Aging materials, past repairs and hidden surprises can turn a small heating or cooling problem into a bigger one. Ask early, fix small.
How Does Matching Work?
You reach out by phone or by request form. You share what is going on, where you live and what kind of home you have. Then Havingstands Heating & Air points you toward a provider in our network who handles that kind of work in your area.
Availability depends on the provider. Many providers can respond quickly, but request a callback to check what is open for your situation.
What Do Providers Need to Meet?
We ask providers in our network to do a few basic things:
- Be honest about what the job involves
- Give a written quote before work begins
- Hold the licenses and insurance their area requires
- Treat your home with care, especially an older one
Providers are independent businesses. Havingstands Heating & Air does not supervise their work, so please confirm details directly with the provider you speak to.
What Don't We Do?
We do not repair, install or replace anything. We do not set prices. We do not promise a result or a schedule. We also do not make insurance decisions. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy, and ask the provider about documenting damage for a claim.
How Does Havingstands Heating & Air Get Paid?
Providers in our network may pay for the homeowner connections they receive. You are never asked to pay Havingstands Heating & Air to be introduced. What you pay a provider for their work is between you and them, and it should be spelled out in a written quote.
If a price or a plan ever feels unclear, ask the provider to explain it in plain words. A good provider will be glad to walk you through it, and you can compare more than one quote before you decide.
Ready to Get Connected?
Tell us what is happening, even if you are not sure of the cause. A noisy furnace, a warm vent or a unit that is simply showing its age are all good reasons to ask.
Would you rather write it down first? You can request an estimate with no obligation.
